Simple is difficult…
The rush we are in absorbs us so much that we don’t even realize whether we really want it or whether we do it because the circle we are in makes us think it needs to be done… With our automatic gear, we do what is necessary and forget about our desires.
When was the last time you asked yourself, “What do I want?” This easy question is also a difficult one to answer.
For example, if you have had someone in your life for a long time and have always shared your life with someone, you do not realize whether you do your own pleasures and things to please the person in your life or because you really want to. Or, you do not realize whether your style of doing business in the company you have been working for for a long time, the environment formed around that institution has been determined by your choices or whether you have become a part of this environment formed on the axis of the algorithm.
You don’t realize whether you are doing the music you are listening to, the place you are going to, or the activity you are experiencing because you want to, or whether you are doing it because the agenda requires it and the conditions of the environment.
Until you experience the enlightenment felt by an event or situation in which you experienced that awareness…
Although this journey of getting out of the situation that caused enlightenment is tiring and difficult, if you have been able to identify your burdens and the negativities that are weighing you down, it means that you have started to look for alternatives to take action.
How about truly being alone with yourself and remembering your true self, apart from the teachings of the family you were born into, the responsibilities of the family you founded, the expectations of your job, and the popular culture of the era you are in?
I wish you flowery paths leading to the seas, where the distance to your soul gets shorter.
With love,
Hatice
